Come out to a sale of high quality native nursery stock provided by Southernwood Gardens (Alto Pass, IL).

Join us to learn about HeartLands Conservancy’s Trout Hollow Hill Prairie, a hill prairie saved through community conservation efforts. This talk will
explore the unique ecology of hill prairies, the threats they face, and the ongoing stewardship work to restore and protect this ecosystem.

Meet at north parking lot. We may splash across a wet spot to walk dirt trails over rolling hills. Moderately easy, relatively short walk. Hope to see Trillium grandiflorum in bloom. Afterwards, we will go to Tavern in the Glen (15761 S Bell Rd, Homer Glen) for drinks, food and conversation.
